One of the pre-requisites of a user is Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), obtained from a licensed RA like e-Solutions or CA like (n)Code Solutions or TCS . A DSC is required to digitally sign electronic forms. Certifying Authorities in India are licensed under the Indian Information Technology Act (IT Act 2000) to issue DSCs. A Digital Signature affixed via a DSC is recognized by the Indian IT Act which is equivalent to a physical signature.
