Problem : When a user trying to register Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) on Income Tax e-filing Website, the error displayed "Validity of the Digital Signature has expired. Please update a valid Digital Signature Certificate".

Solution: 1. Check the validity of Digital Signature Certificate (DSC). Visit our post "How to check validity / expiry date of dsc". OR 2. The Internet Explorer has also the expired Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) in its directory apart from new Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).
